Macros is a browser extension that displays nutrition information for products on Wolt Market. Your privacy is important — this extension is designed to work entirely within your browser with no external data collection.

Data Collection

Macros does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No cookies are set by the extension
• No data is sent to any third-party servers
• No user accounts or authentication

Local Storage

The extension stores the following data locally in your browser:

• Product nutrition cache — cached responses from Wolt's product info API, stored in localStorage to avoid repeated network requests. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted.
• User preferences — your selected score preset and custom weight settings, stored via Chrome's storage.local API. This data stays on your device.

Network Requests

The extension makes requests to the following Wolt domains to retrieve product and nutrition data:

• wolt.com — product category listings
• prodinfo.wolt.com — product nutrition information
• consumer-api.wolt.com — category product data

These are the same APIs that Wolt's own website uses. No data is routed through any intermediary or third-party server.

Permissions

• storage — to save your score preset and custom weight preferences
• Host permissions for Wolt domains — to read product data and fetch nutrition information

Changes

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
